generosity · reciprocity · fairness

“I let generosity preserve dignity.”

Upright

Give or receive with attention to dignity and context. A fair exchange considers power as well as the amount changing hands.

Conditional generosity or an unequal exchange may be creating dependence. Clarify terms and respect the recipient's agency.

The distribution of pentacles makes material exchange visible as an ethical relationship.

What would make this exchange fairer for everyone involved?
